“There was plenty of rise and fall of volume and neatly shaped phrasing, and there were a great many fluid fragments of melody that floated almost independently… Miss Jakuc seemed at home with that view of a glowing, non-assertive, graceful Chopin that I suspect might be closer to the original than that which infuses his music with an aggressive, hard-edged brilliance.
